Transparency & scrutiny

We will explore the legal mechanisms for greater transparency and removal of legal barriers to information about the use of animals in scientific research in the United Kingdom post Brexit and beyond. 

We are particularly concerned about section 24, Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 which significantly inhibits the availability of data about animal experimentation.
